italics: Spitfire of Action for Scene Press
normal: Bacchus of Fairlight
Give us some informations about yourself, please. How tall are you? - What is your weight, hair colour? - Age and which nationality?
I'm 190cm, 75kg (150 pound). No one ever had a good name for my haircolour but I guess I'm blond with a bit of red in it. The girls
say that my eye colour changes with my sweaters. I'm a 21 years old (granny Bacchus) Swede.
What's your favourite food / drinks?
I love salmond and a good white wine but would also kill myself for a good beer.
What's your normals life job?
I was a seller, but as I was kicked out for copying I'm now a lawstudent again.
Do you have a girl-friend?
As the moment no, Eva, the last one (ed. and Adam's first), was kicked out because I got crablouses from her (ed. that rules... and itchs-hehe). Bitch!
(Dogfriend, I'm not pervent because I made love to her in my tub!)
Who's your favourite showstar?
Well, at the moment Jack Killian, "The Nighthawk", on the telly.
What kind of TV movies and TV series do you like most?
When it come to TV, then action, cheap police films and that kind of stuff. On film my three top films are: A Fish called Wanda, Pink Floyd - The Wall and
The Unbearable Lightness of Being (but for the end!)
Which's the favourite 64 game of yours
The game you get famous enough to do a no.1 release of. To tell you the truth I only like games as cracking challenge, but I guess
I was more fond of games like Super Wonderboy, Shadow of the Beast (Amiga) and Coloris (Amiga) than most others.
And the best demo?
The best demo ever made was "Think Twice V" for being the most inovative one. I bet our next will beat the asses of most of'em, too.
Can you remember the best intro you have seen?
Ours is the coolest but I'm impressed by Mr.Z's first one (with colourbars) and Triads. For being so short. Science 451 has a really cool one.
Who made your favourite computer song?
At the moment "Moonlight Shadow" (on Magic News / Dec) by Danko (ex-Fairlight)
who is a freelancer now.
When have you got your 64?
I got it in the beginning of the summer 1985 (now also two others, one 128 and an Amiga 2000).
Which was your firt group, handle and what have you done that time?
First I was Playboy of Lunds Cracking Team (LCT).
Gee, that was lame! I wrote to Playboy magazin to get an official right to use the name, but was of cours turned down (Rats!).
So then I was Gaston for three cracks until Ifound another guy with the name.
So I entered the group C.P.U. (Crackers and Programmers United) under the name Bacchus.
Do you have a special story how you found your codename?
I needed a new name so I thought of Dionysos, the Greek god of wine and fertility (i.e. me!) but the Roman form, Bacchus,
was shorter and I liked it better. They are, however, one and the same.
And who chose the groupname?
Strider did, I guess. Fairlight is an old group,
even thoug certain members rise and fall. I however know that it's from the game and the synth.
How many members does your group have actually?
Toooo many! On 64 we are 18 and 17 on the Amiga. I said too many!
Who is the leader if there is one?
Strider is the total head of the group but I'm responsible for the 64 section.
Describe your members and their jobs.
Aaron = modem trader, swapper
Alchemist = cracker
Bacchus = cracker
Conix = artist
Dino = coder
Gollum = cracker (game coding!)
Greco = coder
Grayhawk = swapper (main one!)
Maduplec = coder
Phred = artist, coder
Richard = Striders brother, mascot
Rowdy = coder
RT = swap
Seagull = coder, BBS
The Sarge = artist (game graphics!)
Tiger = swapper
Viper = big mouth (what else?)
Wedge = hardware, turbos, cruncher
(ed. but with these are also several NATO (ex) members like:
Conix,
Greco,
Maduplec, Tiger)
Who do you think is no.1 cracking group world-wide and in your country, actually?
World-wide: Action, Illusion,
Ikari and Talent. I'd rather not rank.
Sweden: A bugged crack is no crack so Censor didn't crack anything ever. We
are of course Swedens no.1
And who is the best cracker world-wide in you opinion?
Well, a tough one; I'll give some: Rygar / The Fleet,
The Alchemist / FLT,
Gollum / FLT,
Arrogance / Success,
Dogfriend / Dominators,
Spitfire / Action,
Snacky / GP..
Where would you set your group then?
Always in the top 5 cracker charts. That's where we belong, low original status at the mo pushes us down but definitly among
the top 5 and far ahead of Censor.
About Demos, which is the best demo group right now?
Horizon, no doubt.
And the best coder?
Judge of Horizon is a
terrific coder, not noted for having two parts in "Ruting Banan / FLT". Pernod,
who's also great, got all the credits besides this. all guys on the list deserve it!
Why do you crack, or simply, why are you illegal or in scene?
In Sweden I'm not illegal but anyway I'm to lame to code, I hate swapping, a tonedeaf lousy designer with a passion for
computers. What's left but cracking.
Who is your scene hero and who has it been?
Mr.Z now and forever!
Are there still any things you want to reach during your computer activities?
No.1 on the cracking charts!
Which normals life popular persons would you like to meet if you could?
Bono / U2, Roger Waters / Pink Floyd and Cleopatra (who has a more goodlooking nose than mine!)
You have to move to an island, which three things would you bring along?
Oh finally getting rid of the computer slavery! Food, girls (lots of 'em!), a phone to all friends, a telly and a parabole.
(ed. sorry, but I guess a cracker doesn't need to count till 3, does he?)
Did you ever regret the computer years?
Jepp, a lot! What were these years good for?
The biggest wish you have (imagine I'm a fairy!)?
Shocking a crowd by making love in public.
You are born the 2nd time, but you can not be a human anymore, what'll you be?
A rabbit. They don't do anything but eating and fucking!
What is your favourite form of relaxation?
Taking a shower, preferably with a girl.
The biggest disappointment in yer life
Being kicked out of my job for copying end of originals!
What's the funnies thing that's ever happened to you so far in your careeer?
The "Super Wonderboy" crack which made me hit the charts!
It was great!
What's your personal slogan?
Life is only sex, cracks'n rock'n'roll!! (not the game!)
Do you have a best joke?
This yankee sailor was in Soho / London. It was a windy day and there he saw this girl (a hooker of course!)... her shirt blew up
and she had no undies... "It's very airy", he said a bit shocked. "Well what the hell did you expect? Feather?"
(Got it? Airy in Cockney = Hairy, ok?)
What's the hardest crack (fix) you've ever done?
Batman - the Caped Crusader. I was new in FLT and had to prove worthy. I was
so nervous, but made it! (the crack itself wasn't hard but the pressure!)
Which is the best group ever existed?
The Dynamic Duo.
Who is the coolest person from scene you know?
Grendel of Byterapers.
What are your ambitions now you have made it to the top?
To stay there by getting even better!
Describe a lamer, please.
Those who find adresses in scrollers! Those not realizing that we don't want Actions,
Dominators, Ikari+Talent games
from them when we get them from our friends in these groups. And mainly those equaling freezing and cracking. Yuack!
Do you want to send a 'Fuck off' to someone?
Yeah Elric of Agile, for getting
me into the VISA trial. Hope to meet you at the Horizon Party where I'll get more aquainted
with your blood, which will flood from your nose!
Which is the best and the worst thing you know?
Best: Sex - Worst: The horror of failure!
What kind of music do you listen to?
Pink Floyd, U2, Pretenders, Beatles, Genesis, Peter Gabriel and so on.
Do you think of stopping computer, or just changing system?
I don't think I'll ever make it to the top on the Amiga. I don't have the time to learn the system as I had on the 64 so I'll just
die with my 64, I'm afraid.
Who are your best friends in scene?
The Alchemist and Grayhawk / Fairlight,
the Horizon guys, Jerry / Triad,
Dogfriend / Dominators, Spitfire / Action,
New Age / ex-Byterapers.
A last word?
Take a walk on the wild side - never use condoms !
